Important Note About Our Dyslexia Assessment:
The TOD-C provides a Dyslexia Probability Index along with detailed insights into a student’s specific areas of need in reading. This information is valuable for identifying appropriate interventions and can support an informal diagnosis of dyslexia. However, a high probability index does not guarantee that a student will qualify for special education services within a South Dakota school district. South Dakota follows a discrepancy model for special education eligibility, which requires formal testing conducted by the district. Our report can serve as helpful documentation to share with the school and to support a request for a full evaluation to determine eligibility.
